A bundle of thick-stemmed sunflowers from the Farmers Market was the inspiration. These chairs begin as fresh flowers (or veggies), mostly from the gardens of friends, many only lasting the few hours it takes to construct and photograph them. A few with woody stems live on (minus the blossoms and leaves) as dried sculptural forms. Blank greeting cards with the images (printed on fine photo paper, mounted on colored 5"x7" cards to complement each image) are available at $5.00 each, a dozen minimum.
