Ev was an accomplished athlete. His stock portfolio and wine cellar
were the envy of all his friends. He had a wide range of interests
on which he could have thoughtful and passionate conversations. He
studied a subject thoroughly before coming to any conclusions. When
the subject was Love, though, he steered clear. "After all," he said,
"It's a fool who looks for logic in the chambers of the human heart."
Men would nod in agreement while women silently accepted him as a challenge...
